Learn more about those hippity hoppity creatures
called frogs. Learn the different frog calls, where
they live, how they catch their food, and their
habitats. We’ll roast marshmallows around a cozy
campfire while we learn about frogs. Then we’ll take
a hike, search for frogs, and learn some more about
them. Bring your flashlights and boots. Wear long
sleeves, pants and bug repellent!

Wildflowers Walk
Parents, join with your child to play the geocache
game! This game uses GPS units to locate hidden
caches throughout Pilcher Park. Players use specific
coordinates to locate caches within different areas of
the park. Teams will be led by our naturalists. Learn
how to use a GPS device to assist you in finding the
hidden geocache. Use an app on your phone or
borrow one of our GPS units.

guided bird hikes around Pilcher Park and identify
spring migrants. Bring your binoculars or use ours.
Come prepared for hiking on trails with potentially
rough terrain.

Park’s forest floor? This adult only wildflower hike
allows you to get up close with the beautiful spring
wildflowers that are native to our forest. Come
join us on a guided hike with a naturalist to learn
facts and identification of our wildflowers. Like our
ephemeral flowers, this program is short lived. Sign
