Amy S. Cressy, affirming under the penalties for perjury, states that:
I am a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in and for the 60th Judicial Circuit, St. Joseph
County, State of Indiana, and make this affidavit after reviewing verified South Bend
Police Department reports which were submitted to me.
On or about Octo1;>er10, 2014, officers of the South Bend Police Department were
dispatched I.E.
Broadway Street, South Bend, Indiana regarding a domestic
. disturbance. Dispatch further advised that the husband had a firearm.
Officers arrived at the residence and made contact with Zawondra Hunt. Mrs.
Hunt had some redness to her right cheek and what appeared to be blood on her cheek
and neck. Mrs. Hunt stated that she and her husband, ISAAC HUNT JR., had argued
about a martial issue. During the argument, HUNT pushed her down and hit her with a
closed fist. At some point, Mrs. Hunt grabbed a kitchen knife to protect herself. HUNT
then threatened to shoot her. HUNT retrieved a black long gun. Mrs. Hunt called 911 and
HUNT left the residence on his motorcycle before the officers arrived.
Mrs. Hunt gave Officer Paul Daley consent to photograph the residence and to
collect both the kitchen knife and the unloaded Remington .22 caliber rifle.

,.
While officers were still at the residence collecting evidence, officers were
,
advised that HUNT had gone to the South Bend Police Department. Officer Daley meet
with him there. Officer Daley noted that HUNT appeared to have scratches on his pers'on
and red stains on his shirt.
After being advised of his Miranda rights, HUNT agreed to speak with Officer
Daley. HUNT admitted to pushing his wife during the argument but denied punching her.
He stated that he had taken the .22 rifle from his step-son three (3) months prior and kept
it unloaded behind the bathroom closet door.
All of the above-listed events occurred in St. Joseph County, Indiana.
HUNT was previously convicted of the offense of Voluntary Manslaughter, a
Class A Felony under Cause Number 71D03-9002-CF-OOI90 ort May 17, 1991 and he is
therefore classified as a Serious Violent Felon under Indianan Code 35-47-4-5(b)(2).

I affirm, under the penalties for perjury, that the foregoing representations are true
