VOCATIONS PRAYER Almighty God, Holy King, we pray that more of Your people will be
generous in responding to Your invitation to be priests, deacons, nuns and monks. Teach them to follow
in Jesus’ footprints by bringing the light of the Holy Spirit to all people. For You are Holy our God,
and we give glory to You: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, now and ever and forever. Amen.
FOOTBALL RAFFLE TICKETS are still available from the Knights of Columbus. Please speak to John
Dzuryachko, Dick Durachko, or Tee Vance after Liturgy for more information. Please support the Knights of
Columbus pro-life efforts.
BAKING PROJECT IN MONT CLARE We will be baking nut rolls for Thanksgiving and Christmas on
Saturday, October 25th, and will bake every Saturday until November 15, or until our orders are filled.
We need everyone’s help to make this project a success. If you are unable to help with the baking itself,
please consider making a donation to offset the cost of supplies we need to purchase (flour, eggs, milk,
sugar, nuts, etc.)
FRIENDS HELPING FRIENDS Our next fundraiser to subsidize St. Michael’s heat budget will be Friends
Helping Friends hosted by Boscov’s Department Stores. This is a one-day event which requires all shoppers
at Boscov’s (any location) to present a Shopper’s Pass in order to enter the store. The date for Friends
Helping Friends is Tuesday, October 21, 2014, from 9 AM until 11 PM. Passes are $5 each and allow the
shopper the opportunity to save as much as 10%, 15% and 25% off purchases made that day as well as
the chance to win several prizes throughout the day including 3 - $500 shopping sprees. Refreshments will
be served in various parts of the stores and entertainment will also be available. Please help make this a
successful event for St. Michael’s by taking 5, 10 or even more tickets to sell to family, friends, neighbors
and colleagues. Anyone interested in shopping passes, please see Jayne Batyko or contact her by phone
at 610-948-7109 (land line) or email at [email protected]. If anyone would like to volunteer their time
to work at the Coventry Mall Boscov’s selling passes prior to the event or to work on the day of the event,
please let Jayne know.
