The Trail
Guide
September &
October 2014
Volume 2, Issue 2
Rhiannon Peterman - Senior Community Manager
I am the Senior Community Manager from Fort Collins, CO. I live with my two amazing children, Adriana 16 and Hunter
11. We also have a cat named Dublin. I graduated in 1997 with my LPN license and a Restorative Nurse Degree. I have held
customer service positions my entire career. I served my first three years at a small nursing agency, but have since moved
into property management full time. I love this line of work. It is always EXCITING. I consider myself to be funny,
understanding and knowledgeable. Above all, I always want to be welcoming. Please feel free to come visit me anytime.
BTW - My favorite movie is Super Troopers and I love to cook.
It’s hard to believe that
just one year ago we were
leasing out of our cars
with hard hats on. Now,
at the end of September,
we will be celebrating the
one year anniversary of
our first move ins! To
celebrate, we will be
hosting a Spooky
Anniversary Party in
October to thank all of our
wonderful residents for
how far we’ve come in
the last year. After all, we
wouldn’t be where we are
now, without you!
Kelsey James - Assistant Community Manager
I am a Colorado Native, born and raised in Littleton, CO. I have lived in Fort Collins for 4 years now and I love it here. I
love hiking and I am always looking for new adventures on my days off. I have worked with McWhinney for 3 years now
and I love it. I feel honored to be a part of such an amazing community here at The Trails.
Kelly Hooper - Leasing Professional
I am a newer associate to the McWhinney family. I feel very fortunate to be part of such an amazing group of people and
a family driven company. I am a fun loving, Fort Collins native, who has seen many changes here locally in our community
and graduated from Rocky Mountain High School in 1989. I pride myself in family, strong work ethics and friendships that
last a lifetime. I am blessed to be a mother to 4 very special adopted children, and strive to meet there changing needs
daily. I have a large family, so gatherings and holidays are very important to me. I enjoy fishing, camping and any water
sports, as spring and summer are my favorite times of year. I look forward to being part of the McWhinney family for a
long time to come.
September also marks the
beginning of Football
Season and we are ready
to have some fun! On
Sept. 14th, we are hosting
a Chili Cook Off during
the Chiefs vs. Broncos
game. Bring in your best
batch of Chili and enter it
to win NFL gear for a
team of your choice! The
Trails will provide the
condiments, so let us
know which ones taste
best with your chili! If you
don’t have a recipe to
share, come in and be
our taste tester!
The season for gardening is
coming to an end, and
what a great season it has
been! If you have a garden
plot, keep an eye out for
instructions on Community
Garden clean up in
October. For those of you
wondering about a garden
plot for next year, we will
have a lottery drawing for
all plots in the
spring.
Taylor Worthington - Leasing Professional
I love spending time outdoors. I am a semi-professional sailor and avid snowboarder. I have three children all with four
legs. I am engaged to get married in 2014 to a wonderful woman named Jordan, I’m very lucky. I am originally from
Lawrence, KS and spent the first 16 years of my life there, then I moved to Kansas City to graduate high school. After high
school I moved to Chicago for 2.5 years. In 2009, I moved back to Kansas City and met Jordan. We were engaged in 2010
and moved to Fort Collins in 2011. I bring to The Trails a year and half experience in property management from a different
community here in Fort Collins doing my same position as a Leasing Professional. My door is always open to you! Whether
you want to talk about sports, world peace or a problem you are having, please do not hesitate to come see me!
Keith Fisher - Service Manger
I am a NOCO native, I love meeting new people and strive for excellent customer service.
Dan Lundeen - Service Technician
I’ve lived in Colorado my entire life. I like playing and watching all sports and doing outdoor activities with friends and
family. I like cheeseburgers and beer!
Scott Rud - Porter
I am married to my wife Sharon with two children, Jessica 24 and Michael 13. I am originally a Native of Wisconsin, but
we moved to Colorado in 2010 to pursue our careers. In my spare time I enjoy to go fishing, 4-wheeling in my Jeep Rubicon, and I also fly and build model R/C airplanes. I look forward to working here at The Trails for years to come!!
