Autumn Time for Remembrances
HPH Hospice invites adults, teens and children who would like to remember someone they love to our
bi-annual, interfaith Time for Remembrance services. These beautiful and heartfelt ceremonies provide
comfort and inspiration. Each service is facilitated by our Hospice Chaplains and Bereavement Counselors
and is held under a large canopy rain or shine. We will also be honoring our Veterans.
Monday, November 10 at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.

There’s no charge or reservations required. A dove release will conclude the afternoon service and there
will be candlelight in the evening. Light refreshments will be provided.
Enriching Your Life Series
Join us for an engaging, five week-series that will
enlighten, educate and reinvigorate
you. Come to any or all of the sessions and you’ll
hear from a different guest speaker each time.
Presentations are from 2 p.m. to
3 p.m. at The Hospice Care Center
of Citrus County. Reservations

Caregiver Support Groups
Ongoing Adult Bereavement Group
A support group for any adult grieving the death of a
person. The group is facilitated by an experienced HPH
Bereavement Counselor.

A Very Special
Occasion
HPH Hospice We Honor
Veteran (WHV) volunteers
from Citrus County provided
a special pinning to a patient
in the Hospice Care Center of
Citrus County recently. Sandra
White has been an active
member of the American
Legion Auxiliary at Unit 155 in Crystal River for 33 years and
her husband served in the Air Force. The American Legion
is the nation’s largest wartime veterans service organization
advocating patriotism, honor and continued devotion to
their fellow service members and veterans. Sandra has been
President, Vice President and Secretary multiple times, and
her husband was the Aide to the National Commander and
travelled worldwide.
There were more than 33 family members and friends at
the Hospice Care Center to celebrate the pinning. Pictured

Brush, WHV volunteer; Sandy Scott, HPH volunteer and Bob
Scott, WHV volunteer. In front is Tyler Rumpf , Mrs. White’s
grandson, and Mrs. White.
