Ben has worked closely with faculty and students in the K-12 program level, as well as, mentoring senior-year teacher education candidates and facilitating seminars for mentor teachers. Ben is working on this third screenplay, pursuing a storytelling project at the local and national levels, while providing organizational tutoring for students and writing curriculum for literacy-based programs. Dr. Corrine Hosington Thursday, October 16, 2014 – 8AM Corrine Hosington is a full-time professor of Information Systems Technology at Central Virginia Community College in Lynchburg, VA. She has over 25 years of teaching experience. Professor Hoisington is the recipient of the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional in Computer Programming. Corrine speaks to college & university professor and K-12 teachers in over 50 cities, and for such customers as the Microsoft Corporation, and Cengage Learning. Julie Ross Friday, October 17, 2014 – 8AM Julie has been an educator for 30 years. She has worked with both special needs and general education students from preschool through college. Her passion for understanding the educational implications and applications of brain research has developed over the past dozen-plus years and has let to numerous professional development presentations for both school districts and community organizations across the state.
