Regular attendance at group lessons is expected. Consistent with the Suzuki philosophy, group lessons provide an essential motivational tool for your child and his/her musical growth. Please consider carefully over-committing your child with too many extracurricular activities. 2. Please make every effort to arrive on time so tuning and class can begin promptly. It is only fair to all that latecomers not interrupt class. 3. To maintain an effective teaching and learning environment, parents are asked to bring quiet activities for siblings: ex. A book, puzzles, crayons, coloring books. Running and loud talking is unacceptable. STUDENTS AND SIBLINGS NOT IN CLASS ARE TO BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES. 4. Equipment belonging to Logemann’s Community Center and St. Joseph’s school, except for tables and chairs already up may not be used. The books in St. Joseph’s library do not belong to Barcel. Please bring books from home for your children to read. Each person is asked to return the chair used to its proper storage spot. 5. Parents are asked to keep all conversations during tuning and class to a minimum. Students concentrate and learn best when the environment is quiet and attentive. GROUP LESSON GUIDELINES Continued 6.
