It is the requirement that all leaders of youth and children’s organisations should attend a training evening every three years. Our last training was on 10th May 2011. This evening is specifically for leaders who have already been through the standard ‘Taking Care’ training. It will be led by Herbie and Ella Mawhinney and a light supper will be served. This is a night of fun for all the family. Please plan to keep this night free and encourage your family and friends to come along. Any donations given on the night will go to support the work of our local CAP Centre in Larne. Harvest Services 2014 Thank you to all those who brought flowers, fruit and vegetables to the Church last weekend. We are very grateful to the large team of volunteers who decorated the Church on Saturday, made up bunches of flowers and bags of fruit on Monday morning and to the others who distributed these to 44 of our members who are now confined to their homes or residences. We were also able to send the vegetables to the former Clogrennan residents,and surplus fruit to Roddensvale and the Harbour Bear Cares. All of these were gratefully received. Advance Notice The Belfast Community Gospel Choir are coming to Larne on Saturday 29th November. Tickets are £10 and will be available from local Churches and Larne Tourist Information Centre (028 2826 0088). Early booking is advised. Venue: Larne High School (Entrance by Sallagh Park where there is car parking space). Sound Team More members are needed for the team which operates the church sound system each Sunday.
