Luke 2:11, NIrV DRIVE TIME REVIEW: As you drive home today talk about this question... “Why do we go through all the bother to wrap gifts before we put them under the tree or give them to others?” Perhaps it is because it makes the gifts more interesting, creates suspense or lets us look forward to a surprise. If Jesus is God’s present to the world, then how are we like the wrapping paper? Could our loving actions and invitations be like “wrapping paper” that make people eager to find out about the gift-Jesus. Pray for courage and boldness to do acts of love and share the Good News that God brings to us through His Son Jesus. For more family resources, activity and discussion ideas that go along with THE STORY, pick up the weekly Parents' Page at the Faith Street Desk. Join with Friends around the world in a chain of prayer which started on January 1 and goes through May 24. Wabash Friends Church's day to pray during this chain is March 16. Sign up for a time you can commit to pray on March 16 for the work and mission of Friends United Missions and our partnership in world ministry. Daily Prayer Guides are available in the lobby.
