Ferret Scout Car Mark I Australian Army No 115147.
Rare and very restorable
Daimler built reconnaissance
vehicle used by Armoured
Regiments from the 1950s to
1970s. The popular Ferret was
powered by a Rolls Royce B60
petrol engine giving it a
maximum speed of 80 kph.
Operated by a crew of two, this
smallest member of the
armoured family relied on its
speed and low profile for
defence - although it did mount
a 0.30 calibre machine gun in
its open top. Length 3.9m, 1.9m
wide, weight 4,000 kg. An
absolute favourite for historic
military vehicle collectors here
and overseas.

The MIG-21 was the AK-47 of

any other type of jet fighter.
Operated by nearly 50 air
forces spanning 40 years, the
FISHBED (NATO name) had a
7:1 kill ratio over US aircraft
bombing North Vietnam in 196768. This type of pressure suit
enabled the pilot to manage a
phenomenal rate of climb.

which needs attention, the rim
and top of handle with orange
and blue line decoration,
inscribed with HAVE THIS ON
"OLD NASTY" - ANOTHER
VIOLATION OF "POLAND"
flanked by reversed swastikas
and crosses, with a caricature
of Adolf Hitler's face in the
domed base of the interior,
No.1 "Jerry" with the imperial
cross underneath. : One of the
rarest 20th century musical
chamber pots, these were
produced in very small
numbers by Crown Devon just
after the invasion of Poland and
following Chamberlain's radio
broadcast in September 1939.
And were removed from sale
before December because of
complaints of bad taste.

regiment of foot officers
sabre/sword. Officer's sword of
the 10th Cavalry Regiment.
(Silver "X" on each side of
fishskin grip). Plain steel slightly
curved blade. Complete with it's
steel scabbard, approx 90cm
overall. By Prosser of London, it
is not marked in his name but
has his unique and distinctive
form of hilt he used on infantry
and regimental swords.The grip
has the silver X regimental
device as appearing on the
regimental colours. It was
named the 10th regiment in
1751 before which regiments
used their Colonels name for
identification. Here are some of
the campaigns in which the
regiment saw action
1759-1760 repelling Thurot at
Carrickfergus during the 7
years war.The American
Revolution- Lexington
Concord Bunker Hill New
York Germantown Monmouth
Rhode Island. Napoleonic Wars
Egypt Portugal Spain. In 1781
the regiment returned to
England after 19 years of
service overseas. This sword
is directly connected to a British
Regiment with a long and
distinguished history
