Deacons’ Court on Tuesday 21 October at 7.30 pm. Prayer Meeting on Wednesday 22 October at 7.30 pm. Richard and Barbara Davies from AIM will be sharing about their work in Marseilles. Deacons nominations - due to the growth of the congregation the Kirk Session have agreed to appoint new deacons. The congregation are asked to nominate suitable men for this position. There are spare nomination forms at reception. Newcomers Welcome - recently started coming to Smithton? There is an opportunity to find out more about the church and ask questions in the Café/ Lounge on Thursday 30 October at 7.30 pm. Fundraising event - Men’s Curry Night on Friday 31 October at 7 pm in the church. This event is for Finlay Kiln who will be heading off to Rajasthan, India for 4 weeks in June next year, with a charity called World Challenge with around 30 other pupils from Millburn Academy. He will be completing a 2 week long trek through the Himalayas and then spending a week volunteering at an orphanage. He has to raise £3,900 to go on this trip. There is a sign up sheet at reception. CYC Charity Shop - from 22-29 October at the Community Charity Shop, Academy Street, Inverness. Donations of china, clothes, bric-a-brac, toys, electrical goods etc. We can’t accept any books or videos as they no longer sell.
