Thank you to everyone for your concern. It may have been my birthday that gave me a bit of the blues. I turned 12 years old or 84 to you folks last week on the 15th. Overall I’m doing really well! I have some arthritis that makes it kinda hard to jump in the truck & stairs aren’t my favorite thing anymore. This weekend I was trying to climb the stairs to get Gram out of bed & tell her the coffee was done. I got almost to the top when I started slipping & sliding backwards. Grandpa came to my rescue. I didn’t get hurt bad; I was just stiff & sore. Sometimes I get frustrated that I can’t do everything I used to do. I hope you all got a chance to see the total eclipse of the moon last week. I knew there was a song in there, but I couldn’t quite remember it so I had to use the google. I found the song by Enigma: “Miles away from the light at noon, Total eclipse of the moon, Many reasons to believe in life, Just listen what it’s telling you” Anyways, its times like these that make me so glad that I live far away from the world’s tallest buildings! The eclipse had to rate in my top ten list of amazing sights! When we got up at 3:00am there was thin cloud cover over the moon & I worried we would not be able to see the eclipse. But when we walked to work the sky was clear & the eclipse had started! The partial eclipse was the most beautiful time to me.
