1. Accreditation
•
Requests for additional accreditation and parking cards must be send via the
FIS Online System.
•
Requested additional accreditation and parking cards can be picked up at:
Accreditation office, Grandstand building of Ski Stadium, opening times Tue
25/2 – Thu 27/2 from 9:00 to 19:00, Fri 28/2 from 8:00 to 19:00, Sat 1/3 from 8:00
to 18:00 and Sun 2/3 from 8:00 – 14:00.
2. Race Office
•
Race office in Grandstand building of Ski Stadium (on field level, entrance no.
2) opening hours daily from 08:30 – 18:30 (subject to change)
•
Sub Race Office (service area office) at XC service area in ski service building
opening hours Mon 24/2 – Thu 27/2 from 08:00 to 20:00, Fri 28/2 – Sat 1/3 from
07:00 – 22:00 and Sun 2/3 from 08:00 – 20:00.
•
Sub Race office (info center) at SJ service area next to HS130 hill. Opening
hours Wed 26/2 from 10:00 to 16:00, Thu 27/2 10:00 until the end of provisional
round (NC), Fri 28/2 from 10:00 until the end of Qualification (SJ), Sat 1/3 from
08:00 until the end of team competition (SJ), Sun 2/3 from 10:00 until the end
of SJ competition.
3. Accommodation
•
Booking according the FIS Rules via FIS Online registration system
•
The OC offers the following accommodation in different categories and prizes
(all full board): Grand Hotel Lahti, Scandic Lahti, Cumulus Lahti, Seurahuone
Lahti and Musta Kissa Lahti. Additional capacity in Scandic Vierumäki and Ilkka
Vierumäki.

Due to limited hotel capacity accommodation for extra persons or for extra
single rooms outside of quota can not be guaranteed inside the city of Lahti.
4. Transport
•
Official airport: Helsinki airport (94 km from Lahti)
•
The organizing committee will arrange transportation between the airport and
hotels / ski service area. One transport free of charge. Price for additional
transport: 50 € / person.
•
Shuttle service
Shuttle buses from team hotels (and back) are provided free-of-charge. Time
schedules: to be informed later. For individual requests for shuttle service

•
Parking at the service area: Teams are provided one parking permit per
country for parking at the service area. Other vehicles must be parked at
parking place 100 meters from the ski service areas (SJ and XC).
5. Payments
•
Financial office: Located in the Grandstand building of Ski Stadium
•
Accommodation costs: Teams will pay directely in their hotels if not agreed
otherwise (persons from the pay lists will be paid by the OC directly).
•
Carrying costs/Reimbursement: All payments will be done by bank transfer
6. Waxing Facilities
•
Wax cabins: available from Mon 24/02 at 8:00
•
Key pick up & return: At the sub race offices / info centres
•
Waxing trucks: teams arriving with trucks have to inform the OC before

7. Radio Equipment Regulations
•
Radio equipment can only be used with permission of the Finnish
Communications Regulatory Authority (FICORA). All radio equipment and
frequencies must be inspected in Lahti. Teams are responsible for their own
inspections at competition office (field level of Ski Stadium building) on Thu
7/3 – Fri 8/3

8. Visa Regulations
•
Remember that citizens of some countries will need visa to visiting Finland.
Please check with your embassy if you need a visa for Finland.

9. Prize money and taxes
•
Income tax for European and non-European citizens is 15%
•
Income tax for CAN / USA citizens is 0%
•
If requested, the OC will provide the athletes with a receipt of taxes paid
accompanying the prize money.
