Operation Andrew, a program sponsored by the Office of Vocations, is an opportunity for young Catholic men (ages 1635) to have dinner with the Archbishop and Archdiocesan priests, and hear vocation testimonials on priesthood and
religious life.
It is typical for men discerners to be accompanied by their Pastor. If you would like to reserve a space at the table, please
call the Parish Office before October 29 at 651.982.2200 or email [email protected].
Vianney Visit – November 13-15

Opening Celebration for the 2015 Year of Consecrated Life – November 21
Women, come to learn more about consecrated life and meet consecrated women from our archdiocese! On Friday,
November 21, the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Feast Day, come together at St. Mary’s Chapel at The Saint
Paul Seminary to celebrate the commencement for the Year of Consecrated Life.
The evening begins at 7:00 pm with a talk by Dr. Deborah Savage entitled: Listening with the Heart of Mary: Virgin,
Mother and Prophet. Dr. Savage is a professor of philosophy and theology at The Saint Paul Seminary School of
Divinity and the Co-Founder of the Siena Symposium for Women, Family and Culture. The talk will be followed by a
Holy Hour with our Eucharistic Lord. The night concludes with time for personal sharing and conversation with the
consecrated women in attendance.
For more information, please contact the Vocation Office at 651.962.6890 or [email protected]
If you know of a young man or woman who has expressed interest in a religious vocation or if you know someone
who might be interested in the priesthood or consecrated life, please let them know about these wonderful
opportunities. And please don’t forget to pray for an increase in vocations to the priesthood, deaconate or
consecrated life.
Yours in Christ,
Father Bodin

Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration
O Virgin Mary, Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, Thou
glory of the Christian people, joy of the Universal
Church, salvation of the whole world, pray for us, and
awaken in all believers a lively devotion towards the
most Holy Eucharist. Obtain for us the grace to communicate worthily and often.
(Raccolta 418)
Immediate need for adorers:
Services are available to couples who are interested in
adoption as a way to build their family and to pregnant
women looking to place their baby for adoption. If you
or someone you know is pregnant and wondering about
options, loving choices are available. Many caring couples are waiting for children. Adoption offers a loving,
realistic and personal alternative to abortion.
Services are also available to birth parents, adopted
adults and adoptive families whose adoption was facilitated by Catholic Charities.
Further information may be obtained by calling:
651-647-3100 or visiting:
http://www.cctwincities.org/AdoptionServices.
Please see the Respect Life bulletin board at the North
entrance of the church for a listing of helping agencies.

VIRTUS Training
ATTENTION VOLUNTEERS!
St. Peter will be hosting the Archdiocesan
“VIRTUS: Protecting God’s Children”,
an Adult Awareness program on:
Tuesday, Oct 28, 6:00 - 9:00 pm in St. Peter’s Hall
Did you know that all adult volunteers in this archdiocese who volunteer with children, youth, or vulnerable
adults need to attend VIRTUS, an adult awareness program? It is our goal to have all who volunteer to work
with our youth or vulnerable adults (chaperones, school
volunteers, catechists) comply with the archdiocesan
mandate and attend this class. If you are not currently
volunteering with youth or vulnerable adults but anticipate that you will in the future, please consider taking
the class now so that your requirement is completed before the volunteer opportunity presents itself. If you have
already attended this class, you do NOT need to repeat it.
During the three-hour VIRTUS session, attendees will
learn to recognize the signs and symptoms that indicate a
child is being abused or exploited in some way, environmental factors to be aware of, how abusers operate, and
things parents can do to help educate their children
about how to respond to inappropriate behavior toward
them.
You must pre-register for this class. To pre-register,
please visit www.virtus.org. If one of these sessions at St.
Peter does not work with your schedule, please feel free
to attend a session at any another parish. If you need assistance registering, or have any questions, contact:
Debbie Larson, Director of Stewardship and Volunteer
Ministry, at (651) 982-2227 or [email protected].
