BETTING
Harness Racing is one of the most popular spectator sports
in Finland. Teivo Racetrack hosts around 45 race meetings a
year and is the second largest trotting track in the country.
Over 100,000 people visit Teivo Racetrack annually.
Majority of the racing events are held on Tuesdays. The first
race starts at 6:00 p.m.
Teivo also hosts the national Toto75-races six times a year
on Saturdays. Post time on Saturdays is 3:00 p.m.
Why not try your luck at the betting counter? You don’t
have to be an expert to win big. There are several types of
wagers to choose from:
Voittaja (Win): The horse you select must come in first.
Sija (Show): The horse you select must come in first, second,
or third.
Kaksari (Quinella): A bet attempting to select the first two
finishers, regardless of order.
Troikka (Trifecta): A bet attempting to select the first three
finishers in exact order.
Päivän Duo (Daily Double): A bet attempting to pick the
winner of two consecutive races, races 7 & 8.
Toto5 (Pick five): A bet attempting to select the winners of
five consecutive races (races 4 to 8).
LOCATION
Teivo racetrack is located 8 kilometers northwest of Tampere city center. Getting to the track is easiest by taxi or your

DINING
Enjoy a tasty dinner while watching the races. Restaurant
Grand Prix offers the best seats in the house, located directly above the winner’s circle and the finish line. The restaurant can accommodate over 600 guests and features a
23 square meter giant screen!
