Student Council Project: St. Anne’s Student Council has taken on the Caps of Love Project. It involves
saving plastic caps, which are then sold and wheelchairs are purchased and given to children. We will
be saving caps through Advent with them being shipped on December 19.
Caps of Love – read more about the project at www.capsoflove.com
By simply collecting plastic caps from bottles and other containers, we can help provide wheelchairs to children who need
them. The caps are recycled and sold, and 100% of the profit is used to purchase wheelchairs for children.
What to Save:
- Any plastic cap from pop, shampoo, toothpaste, spray paint, sour cream containers, hairspray, medicine bottles, etc.
How to Save:
- Make sure it is clean, Remove any paper or foil lining.
- Keep white lids separate from colored lids.
- Don’t want any cap that has metal or paper or beverage lids from food restaurants.
When to Save:
- Now through Advent, Caps will be shipped on December 19.
Where to Save:
- Bring clean caps to your classroom.
