Event Description
WHAT
The largest street closure event in Noe Valley, the 10th annual Noe Valley Harvest Festival is
scheduled for Saturday October 18th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and takes place on 24th Street
between Sanchez and Church Streets.
This family-friendly festival is FREE and one of San Francisco’s favorite ways to celebrate fall.
Bay Area artists and craftspeople will display and sell their creations just in time for holiday gift
giving. Also featured will be non-stop entertainment and activities for adults and kids. The large
main stage is a focal point with live local bands and the annual kids’ and pets’ costume contests.
The event also includes a festive pumpkin patch, pumpkin decorating and crafts for kids, two
jumpy tents, balloon artists, face painters, roaming a cappella singers, a raffle with great prizes
and the ever-popular dunk tank!
The Noe Valley Farmers’ Market will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m, offering locally-grown
produce and edibles and featuring a smaller stage with more entertainment throughout the day.
The Noe Valley Merchants and Professionals Association will host their annual 24th Street Hay
Ride with FREE rides on a traditional horse-drawn carriage for all from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Festival
attendees will enjoy the fall food offerings that Noe Valley’s famous restaurants have in store as
well as local merchant specials.
The Festival attracts in excess of 7,000 attendees each year from all over the City and Bay Area.
WHERE
The Noe Valley Harvest Festival is held on 24th Street between Sanchez and Church Streets,
a fun-filled pedestrian zone closed to traffic for the event.
