 Working hours for faculty are 7:45 am to 3:30 pm, plus After School Activities (ASA) and Program Improvement Days
(PID) as required.
 Half-day PIDs and early student dismissal days are counted as student contact days. Full-day PIDs are not counted as
student contact days. On four scheduled PIDs students will be dismissed at 11:30 am, two PIDs are full days. There are
six RVIS PID events in the 2014/2015 calendar.
 NEW teachers/paras/nurse in-service day will not be counted in the total teacher workdays.
 Administrators, Executive Assistant, Guidance Counselor work additional days before and after school per their individual
contracts.
