Redistributing almost half of the Gross Domestic Product, the public sector is an important element of the allocation process. Hence, understanding and analysis of the mechanisms of functioning of the sector should be an ongoing subject of research of an interdisciplinary nature. The effects of the decisions taken in this sector translates into not only the efficiency of its operations, but also on the behaviour of private entities, growth and development of the entire economy and standard of living of the population. Current development of research on the efficiency and effectiveness of public sector and its entities indicates that there is still a lot of important issues and questions to which answers are sought among representatives of economics, management, law, sociology and political science. Therefore, the objective of the conference is an interdisciplinary exchange of views and presentation of research results in areas such as: 1. The evolution of the functions and responsibilities of the public sector in economic theory and practice 2. The problems of financing public sector entities 3. Management of public organizations 4. Cross-sectoral cooperation 5. Legal aspects of the functioning of the public sector Conference languages: polish, english Contribution must be at least 20 000 characters long (including spaces) and not longer than 40 000 characters.
