Missing Teenager in Beaver Creek
Clothing Worn....
From: Holly Quick, Lake Montezuma
She was last seen wearing a white polo shirt, jeans and a tan
hair band.
MISSING TEENAGER!!! from Sedona Sky Academy,
previously Copper Canyon Academy
sent in by Holly Quick from Lake Montezuma
Hi neighbors. I work for Sedona Sky and we have
a student that has run away from campus. She has been gone since
9:50am and all of the local law enforcement is involved in the search.
I thought this would be a good way to get more information out there
in hopes of returning her safely.
She is a tall, slender blonde and probably has her hair pulled up. I
have attached a picture. Please help find her!
Please call YCSO (Sheriff's Office) at 928-567-7710 to report
information.

October 23, 2014
Dear Neighbors
The weather for the rest of October is forecast to be
sunny and mild. We vote for that! So weather can't be
an excuse for missing out on a lot of free and low cost
activities available here and throughout the Verde
Valley. If you're ready from some outdoor exercise,
Friends of the Verde River Greenway are planning to
do some
work on
the Jail Trail this Saturday at Dead Horse
Ranch State Park. Meet at 8:30 AM at the
Jail Trail parking area. Please bring gloves
and tools for weeding and resurfacing.
Contact Marsha Foutz of FVRG at
[email protected] for more
information. (The photo of the Verde River
archway is from Diane Joens and the local
photo of the rainbow with Apache Maid in
the background is from Linda Hawbaker.)
Since the last eNews Supervisor Thomas
Thurman, Sheriff Scott Mascher, County Administrator Phil Bourdon and Verde Area
Road Superintendent Verl Cook met with residents in the Adult Center to promote passage
of a jail district sales tax to be used in particular for the construction of a new prison.
Other information provided was that the estimated completion date for the pedestrian
bridge next to the Wet Beaver Creek Bridge is by the end of February. There will not be
much chip sealing until FY 15/16 and overlays on parts of Montezuma Avenue and
Beaver Vista will start this fiscal year but may not be completed until the following one
due to some utility issues.
Beaver Creek Public/School Library held an open
house attended in particular by both the Friends of
Beaver Creek Library and the Photography Club.
Free Microsoft Office computer training classes will
be offered at the library starting on Monday.
Registration information is provided below.
Yavapai County Health Department provided free
flu shots (photo from Marlyn Summers) in the Adult
Center which will be utilized again
by the county on November 4 for
voting. The Key Club Movie
night starts at 5:30 PM on Friday
(tomorrow) in the high school area
of Beaver Creek Baptist Church.
Please check out the listings and
