On Friday November 21 2014, 15.00 - 17.30h, a colloquium is organized to celebrate the 60th anniversary of CERN, the 50th anniversary of ISOLDE and the 40th anniversary of LISOL. Contributions will cover scientific highlights, emerging applications and future perspectives from CERN, ISOLDE and LISOL. Furthermore, the point of view of researchers and funding agencies on the position and needs of university groups active at international large-scale research facilities will be addressed.
