STUDENT PARKING
PARKING/DROP-OFF/PICK-UP
Student parking permits are available on a firstcome first-served basis to 11th & 12th grade students. Students intending to park in the student lot
must purchase a permit for $30 or be ticketed by the
Roseville Police Department. A permit is less than
a ticket. Permits are available in Mr. Crow’s office
(586) 445-5544 before or after school. Students
must park in the Student Lot located at the north
end of RHS, near the Athletic Fields. No student
parking is allowed on the side streets, Visitor’s Lot,
or Staff Lot.
There may be some delay in entering the parking lot
during drop-off and pick-up times. Please prepare to
arrive before the “rush” in the morning and after the
“rush” at dismissal time - before 7:30 a.m. or after
2:50 p.m.
REMEMBER—NO Parking/Dropping off on the
East side of Normal during the school day. Only
south-bound traffic may pull to the curb for dropoff and pick-up.

MONTHLY Club/Committee Meeting Days
The driveways for the SOUTH LOT (Staff Lot) are
ONE WAY. Cars entering/exiting the lot inappropriately may be ticketed by the
Roseville Police Department.
Students are expected to arrive to all classes on
time. Students entering up to 5 minutes late will be
marked tardy. Students arriving after 5 minutes will
be marked absent.

It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT that students and
parents follow up on attendance. Excessive tardies
or unexcused absences will lead to disciplinary
consequences.

RHS Embraces Rachael Scott’s Five Challenges
Just a reminder - Students are required to exit the
building by 3:00 p.m. daily unless they are attending a scheduled activity or sports practice, supervised by faculty. Parents are asked to have transportation available for those students that do not
walk or ride a bus to school. Your cooperation is
appreciated. Students unattended are loitering and
may be ticketed by the Roseville Police Department.

Athletic Passes
Athletic Passes can be purchased in the Athletic Office or at
each home event at the gate. These passes are good for the entire 2014-2015 athletic season for every sport. Passes are good
for HOME EVENTS ONLY. Invitational's and tournaments are
not included. A payment plan is available for the purchase of
yearly passes.
Family Pass—$50.00
The family pass is good for the admission of “4” FAMILY
MEMBERS in the purchaser’s family ONLY; it cannot be used
for friends or acquaintances standing near the gate as you enter.
STUDENT I.D. IS REQUIRED FOR ENTRY TO EVENTS
All Junior High and High School students are required to show
their student ID for entry to any home game/event. Students
from the competing schools will be allowed entry, with ID, to
the event of the day. No student entry from third-party schools.
NO STUDENT ID = NO ENTRY
Student Pass—$25.00
The student pass in non-transferable. All students must pay
entry fees to events unless they are participating in the event
taking place that day.
Staff Entry to Athletic Events
All Roseville Community Schools staff members are welcome
to attend the RHS Athletic events at no cost, along with their
spouse. If you are planning to regularly attend events with your
“family”, please purchase a “family pass,” as described above.
Your cooperation in this matter is appreciated.

Grievance Procedure
Section 1: Any person believing that the Roseville Community School Dis-
trict, or any part of the school
organization, has discriminated on the basis of race,
color, national origin, gender/
sex, age, disability, height,
weight or marital status, may
file a grievance with: Grievance forms are available from
any building principal or
from the Administration
Building.
Section 2: All grievances will
be processed through the following steps:
A. A written statement of
the grievance, using the district’s grievance form, shall
be submitted to the Civil
Rights Coordinator.
B. Upon receipt of the com-
pleted grievance form, the
Coordinator will conduct an
investigation and notify grievant of the results, including
any remedial measures. Normally, the investigation will
be concluded within (30)
thirty school days.
C. Within (10) ten school
days, the grievant may appeal,
in writing, to the Superintendent of Schools, who will
make a written decision, normally within (30) school days.

Homework requests may be made for absences of
three (3) days or more.

A parent or legal guardian must call the Counseling
Office at (586) 445-5553 to place the request.

Allow 36 hours for processing.

Teachers will be asked to send homework for 2
days. Once that work is completed and turned in,
additional work may be requested.

Textbooks cannot be gathered by teachers or
staff; please make arrangements with your child.

Students serving a suspension may take their books
with them as they leave, however homework will
be available AFTER the 36 hour timeline.

It is the responsibility of the student to gather
and make up work missed during absences.
Homework is an essential part of
learning. Please encourage your
child to succeed by completing
their work on time.
