Internationalization is a ongoing process and it is only going to pick up speed instead of slowing down Relatively intense and simultaneous changes in the operating environment are getting more frequent. Uncertainty has been increasing; A need to rapidly react in changing situations. Business and corporate structure of Pirkanmaa has changed; in the future the employment impact of SMEs is emphasized. A change from production-oriented thinking into more customer centric direction; the importance of sales work and an active customer relationship management is emphasized. Larger entities, services and solutions will be developed and sold. Information technology will be more and more integrated part of all functions. 12 © Tampereen kauppakamari & Oy Swot Consulting Finland Ltd Main points from the web-survey 13 Aprox 75 % of answers where relatively satisfied with skills of the recently graduated 80 % vastaajista oli tyytyväinen ammattioppilaitoksista valmistuvien tietotekniikan osaamiseen. Pahimmiksi puutteiksi ammattioppilaitoksista valmistuneilla arvioitiin asennoituminen työntekoon ja oma-aloitteisuus (yli 50 % vastaajista tätä mieltä) Ammatilliseen lisä- ja täydennyskoulutukseen oltiin pääosiin tyytyväisiä. Esimiestaidot arvioitiin riittämättömiksi niin ammattikorkeakouluista (45 %), yliopistosta (33 %) kuin teknillisestä yliopistostakin (32 %) valmistuneiden kohdalla. Tietotekniikan osaamisen arvioi hyväksi tai yrityksen tarpeisiin riittäväksi vähintään 60 % vastaajista riippumatta siitä, mistä koulusta henkilö oli valmistunut. Tulevien vuosien merkittävimmät lisäosaamistarpeet liittyvät myyntityöhön, asiakaspalveluun, markkinointiin ja kansainväliseen liiketoimintaan. Lähes 75 % vastaajista oli sitä mieltä, että Pirkanmaalla pitää lisätä mahdollisuuksia oppisopimuskoulutukseen. New ways of collaborating needed. Companies needs to be active and offer quest lectures and study enviroments to schools Companies needs to be more active in offering guestlectures and studyvisits to TEACHERS and STUDYCOUNCELLERS in order to make sure they have the right perspective to the work All leves of degrees need to make sure the student understands the basic principles of workplace culture, workplace ethics, basic finances and have the right attitude More agile and adjustable degrees.
