Ohana
2
Dear Guests of St. Paul Parish School,
Aloha! We are so happy that you can be a part of the
19th Annual St. Paul Parish School Auction, celebrating
our wonderful St. Paul family.
This year, we have chosen the theme “Ohana”, which
in Hawaiian means family. We are so blessed to have a
wonderful ohana here at St. Paul that supports an
outstanding Catholic education centered in Christ.
Through your kindness and unending support, we are
able to ensure that our students receive an outstanding
education, which helps them grow spiritually,
intellectually, socially, and physically.
We would like to say mahalo to the many auction
volunteers, sponsors, donors and supporters who have
demonstrated the true spirit of ohana. Tonight is a great
opportunity to celebrate all of the things that make St.
Paul such a special place. As you continue to enjoy the
company of good friends, delicious food, and wonderful
items for auction, please remember the children who are
served by your presence and generosity this evening.
In Christ’s Peace,

General Auction Rules
Bidder identification
Each attendee has been assigned a bid card number to be used for all bidding. This bid number is your account number during the auction. Your account must be closed at the finance table at the end of the evening.
Liability
All sales are final. Reservations for trips and/or accommodations must be
arranged with the donor unless otherwise specified. The St. Paul Parish
School Auction Committee has endeavored to describe items correctly, but
all goods and services are sold “as is.” St. Paul Parish School and the St. Paul
Auction Committee neither warrants nor represents, and shall not be responsible for the correctness of descriptions, genuineness, authorship, or
condition of items offered. All items sold at the auction are to be undertaken
at the sole risk of the purchaser. St. Paul Parish School and the St. Paul Auction Committee are not liable or responsible in any way for the loss, injury,
or damage to (or in respect to) any person or property. Auction items are
non-transferable without consent from the donor.
Item values indicated are estimates only and are not warranted by St. Paul
Parish School or the St. Paul Auction Committee for tax or other purposes.
Claims for defects or failure to deliver a benefit or item bid upon must be
brought against the donor, not against St. Paul Parish School or the St. Paul
School Auction Committee.
Drawing
One lucky winner wil be drawn just prior to the start of the live auction. For
$100, someone will win their choice of a tuition voucher, or an item from
our ORAL Auction Packages. Only 99 chances will be sold! Purchase as
many chances as you like prior to the salad auction.
Silent Auction
The silent auction opens at 5:30 p.m. All silent auction items have bid sheets
nearby. If you wish to bid on an item, write your name and bid number on
the bid sheet. You may bid on each item as often as you wish.
At the close of each silent auction section, the person who placed the last
bid within the time restriction, at the minimum raise on the bid sheet, will
be deemed the purchaser of the item.
*Please note that one or two successful oral auction bidders will get their
choice of one of the serving platters created by the students as class projects. The remaining platters will be auctioned off in the silent auction.
Oral Auction
Each person will be assigned a bid number at the registration table. The auctioneer will seek verbal bids on oral auction items and will determine the
winning bidder. The cashier will record the winning bidder’s number and
amount. (Your bid number serves as your account number.)
Certificates for goods and services as well as the actual items can be picked up
in the school gym or finance room.
*** Unless otherwise specified, ALL AUCTIOn PACKAGES, Silent and
Oral, expire October 26, 2015***

to express checkout and review your charges. If you have purchased any
auction items, you then take your receipt to that distribution area. Greater
Giving accepts Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American express.
