The Lakeville Police Department is accepting applications for Volunteer Reserve Officers to assist with a variety of tasks such as crowd control, traffic control, and assisting Police Officers as needed. Must be at least 18 yrs., have a high school diploma or GED, a driver’s license with a good driving record, and be able to pass a background investigation. This will mean no cars parked on the streets between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. Now is the time to find overnight parking spaces for your vehicles. The Lakeville City Council is composed of the Mayor and four Council Members. Two Council Member seats are up for election in the Nov. 4 General Election. All Council Members are elected at large and represent the entire community.
