LADIES FLOOR HOCKEY

60 MINUTE CIRCUIT TRAINING
Tuesdays 8:15 - 9:15pm at the Recreation Centre.
Classes will include cardio, strength training and flexibility.
Instructed by Heidi Tucker.
3 Week Program beginning October 14th.
Drop in fee: $5.00 per class
BABYSITTERS COURSE
Youth ages 11 and older may preregister by contacting Wanda at

When there is sufficient interest to offer the course,
you will be contacted regarding fees, dates, location and times.
You will also be asked to confirm your attendance at that time.
For the two younger groups, Gym Kids is an organized physical activity program designed to help
young children learn coordination, balance and agility skills, thus leading to physical and mental
confidence. For the older groups, Gym Kids is designed for skill development with a focus on
promoting physical fitness while having fun. Gym Kids is a six week program which will begin
October 25th and will be held at Pasadena Elementary on Saturdays. There will be NO PROGRAM on
November 1st. The program is open to all children ages 0 - 11, as indicated in the age categories and
time slots listed below:
10:00-10:50am
11:00-12:00pm
12:30-1:45pm
1:45-3:00pm
TEENY TOTS (toddlers ages 3 years and younger accompanied by caregiver)
KINDER KIDS (children 4 & 5 years of age / drop off program)
FIT KIDS (Grades 1- 3 / drop off program)
FIT & FUN KIDS (Grades 4 - 6 / drop off program)
Parents must register at the Recreation Centre 8:00 - 9:00pm on October 16th.
All programs are being instructed and supervised by staff and student leaders with Pasadena Parks &
Recreation. Children attending the Teeny Tots program must be accompanied by a caregiver whom will
participate in all activities. The other programs are drop off programs. The registration fee for each
program is $20.00 per child. Late registration will be held onsite on October 25th if space is available.
No child will be refused to “Play” because they can’t afford to “Pay”.
WORKS OF ART
Join us at the Recreation Centre and let your artistic talents shine though
as you complete your very own Works of Art.

FRIDAY NIGHT OUTINGS
5 week program beginning on October 24th, 2014
Swimming & bowling at Hodder Memorial Complex
Open to students in grades 3- 7
Program Fee - $30.00 (no outing Oct. 31st)
(Jumpstart Funding Available to Qualifying Families)
Fee covers Bus Transportation, Swimming Pool & Bowling Rentals.
Please bring along some healthy snacks and a water bottle.
Bus pick-up at Pasadena Academy at 6:15pm/ drop-off at Pasadena Academy at 9:30pm
Parents must register at the Recreation Centre 8:00 - 9:00pm on October 16th.

. . . ALL KIDS DESERVE A SPORTING CHANCE
Through this program, local participants have registered in organized sports and recreational activities
such as hockey, downhill skiing, karate, dance, baseball, day camps, figure skating, cross county skiing,
soccer, swimming, girl guides and boy scouts. If you know of youth in the community between the ages of
4 - 18 that may benefit from this program, please call Wanda Wight, member of the local chapter

amount of $10,000 from the department
of Health and Community Services.
This grant program focuses on building
capacity within communities to create
inclusive environments where all people
are engaged in community life
including older persons.

Day Passes and weekend passes are available at the Town Office during regular working hours. Patrons
purchasing passes must sign a waiver form and pay a $5.00 fee for a Key Card for gym access. This card
will become the property of the purchaser and assigned to them for future purchases.
