Annual Fees: Infant annual fees are $250 per year per student. Toddler and Primary annual fees are $440
per year per student. This amount is due on August 1st (the month prior to the start of the school term), or if
the student is enrolling after the school year has commenced, on the first day he/she attends classes.
Financial Aid: LePort Schools financial aid program is administrated by an external, third party evaluation
system called the Independent School Management Financial Aid for School Tuition Program (or FAST). We use
FAST because it’s a simple, objective method to determine qualification for financial aid. FAST adheres to
nationally established standards, and has safeguards to ensure that applicant information is kept confidential.

Tuition Payment Options/Late Fees: Tuition may be paid automatically on the 1st of each month using our ACH
(automatic payment) system. There is a $25.00 charge per month for payments made with a method other
than ACH. For example, if you choose to pay tuition with a cashier’s check, money order, cash, or through your
bank’s automatic payment system, please add an additional $25.00 to the monthly tuition amount due. Tuition
is due on or before the 1st day of each month, beginning on September 1st. If the payment is received after the
1st and before the 7th day of the month, a late fee of $25.00 will be assessed. Payments received on or after
the 7th of the month will be charged an additional late fee of $50.00, for a total of $75.00 due in late fees.
Additional late fees may be assessed if the account is not paid in full by the 8th of the month. A fee of $45.00
will be charged on all checks returned by the bank.
Deposits, Payments & Student Fees: A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of one month’s tuition is due
with this application. Non-refundable, non-transferable student fees are due as noted in the Annual Fees
section of this Application for Admission. The tuition deposit will be held throughout your child’s school term
and applied to the last month tuition payment (June 2015 for the ten-month plan, and August 2015 for the
twelve-month plan). Tuition is based on a ten-month or twelve-month program, divided into ten or twelve
equal payments respectively. Payments are due by the first of each month. LePort Schools engages its staff,
purchases supplies and equipment, and plans its operational budget on the assumption that children are
enrolled for at least a ten-month program, so we do not offer any reduction of fees for absences or vacations
on the ten-month program. Please see Administration for details about the vacation credit policy.
Application Process: Please review this Application for Admission to determine the rate of your child’s tuition.
Note that tuition pricing is subject to change and cannot be guaranteed until the child is officially enrolled at
LePort Schools. We do provide a current pricing sheet when families tour our facilities and put their names on
the wait list. However, when enrollment is offered, the student will be enrolled at the current tuition rate.
Photo, Video, Work Sample Release:LePort Schools may use pictures of your child and/or samples of his/her
classroom work for marketing and operational uses, including but not limited to online and offline newsletters,
classroom displays and materials, advertising, brochures, websites, social media, yearbook and newspaper or
magazine articles. By enrolling your child at LePort Schools, you waive any right to approve the finished
photograph or accompanying copy.
Discounts: You will receive the following sibling discounts if two or more siblings enroll: 8% off of the second
child’s tuition, 12% off of the third child’s tuition, and 16% off of each subsequent child’s tuition. Sibling
discounts are applied in order of the age of the child: no discount off the oldest enrolled child’s tuition, 8% off
the second oldest enrolled child’s tuition, and so on. The sibling discount cannot be combined with any other
offer.
Support LePort: In our LePort community, we know a better tomorrow begins with children today, and
therefore we welcome your contribution to help offer a LePort education to those children who, because of
financial constraints, might not have had the opportunity to experience it otherwise. All donations given will
go to financial-aid scholarships.
Withdrawal & Program Change: You may withdraw your child at any time, but please note that LePort
Schools cannot issue any refunds. However, should you choose to provide written withdrawal notice prior to
March 31st for 10-month agreements, or prior to May 31st for 12-month agreements, LePort Schools will
apply your one-month tuition deposit for the current school term to the month following receipt of written
notice. For instance, if notice is received in February, your one-month deposit will be applied to March. For
withdrawal notices received after March 31st for 10-month agreements, and after May 31st for 12-month
agreements, no transfers of deposits are permitted under any circumstances. For instance, if you are on a 12month agreement and give notice in June that you will be withdrawing your child in July, you will owe a
prorated amount for July (based on your child’s last day), and will forfeit your one-month deposit.
On the 12-month program, should you give withdrawal notice prior to May 1st, you agree to reimburse LePort
Schools the amount of $50.00 for each month your child was enrolled during the current school term through
your child’s last month of attendance for holiday care. This must be paid on the first day of your child’s last
month. For instance, if your child starts school in September and withdrawal notice is given on October 15th
that November will be his or her last month, the last month’s tuition deposit will be applied to the month of
November and $150.00 would be due, for the three months of holiday care
(September, October, & November) on November 1st. For more information about our withdrawal and
program change policies and some examples, please review our Parent Handbook.
Please note that we conduct re-enrollment in the month of February. At that time, we provide you with an
opportunity to guarantee your child’s enrollment for the following school term. To secure placement, a
deposit of one month’s tuition is required. Should you choose to withdraw your child from our program as
outlined in the previous paragraphs, you do so with the understanding that you will forfeit your deposit for the
following school term. For example, if your child is enrolled in the 12-month program and you provide us with
written notice on May 31st the deposit for the current term would be used to pay your child’s June tuition and
the re-enrollment deposit you have on file for the following school term would be non-refundable and could
not be applied to tuition in the months of July or August.
As a courtesy to families with children whose enrollment commences on or after 2/1, in lieu of requiring a
last-month’s tuition deposit for the current term in addition to a last month’s deposit for the following school
term, which, for many families, would be cost prohibitive we only require one deposit which will be applied to
June or August of the following term. This deposit cannot be applied to tuition in the months of March, April,
May, June, July or August of the current school term should you choose to withdraw your child from our
program.
If a deposit is left for the future school year, the first month it can be applied to is September of that year.
For example, if a family decides in August that they will not be returning for the upcoming year and gives
written notification (per our withdrawal policy) by August 31st, their last month's deposit for the upcoming
year will be applied toward September, making it their child's first and last month of the school year. This
policy applies to re-enrollment deposits submitted earlier in the year, as well as to families who enroll after
re-enrollment and have only a future deposit on file per the Enrollment Agreement Addendum.
Kindergarten Credit: LePort Schools offers a special incentive discount program for families who complete
their final year in the Montessori Primary classroom (aka kindergarten). For each month that your child is
enrolled in the Toddler program or the first two years of the Primary program, you will receive a $100 credit
toward discounted tuition for your child's 3rd Year Primary tuition. Third year credits do not apply in certain
cases including (but not limited to) students receiving longevity discounts or financial aid, and/or children of
LePort Schools’ employees.
