It is our privilege to extend a warm invitation to you to the focused congress, for this year the scientific committee has chosen the theme as ”Future of management of Neurovascular diseases”. Experts from all three fields Neurosurgery, Neurology, Interventional Neuroradiology will share their experiences. Cerebrovascular field, mainly then neurointervention as a science has rapidly evolved in the last couple of decades and has brought in a paradigm shift in the management of haemorrhagic and ischemic stroke. This has brought in a peculiar dilemma Neurosurgeons, Neurologists want to learn it, and structured opportunities are too few. Young Interventional Neuroradiologists have learnt the technique but are struggling to get assimilated into clinical patient management teams. I personal feel the era of debates of clipping versus coiling or I.V thrombolysis vs I.A outdated, each therapy has made a difference and has a relevant place, only way forward is how to best harness all the available knowledge and resources for the benefit of a stroke victim. This meeting is being held under the aegis of Delhi Neurological Association Aim with which the organizing committee started conceptualizing the content, was to expose physicians to the scope and limitation of this science. This may provoke their interest, enhance their familiarity and enable them to use the science effectively and appropriately. I cordially invite all of you, to New Delhi from 7th to 9th November 2014. Scientific committee has worked hard for close to three months to put together a scientific program, which is scientifically rich, diverse and relevant. I hope at the end of two and half days, you will feel your time spent here was use full. Sincerely Dr. Vikas Gupta Organizing Chairman Dr. Y. S.
