Pressure Vessels Class 2.1
This list specifies works approved by Lloyd’s Register Group Limited (LR) for the
manufacture of fusion welded pressure vessels in accordance with Lloyd’s Register Rules
and Regulations for the Classification of Ships, Part 5, Chapter 17. This List 12b applies to
Class 2/1 approvals.
The information listed for each works is a summary of the approval, and only covers the
manufacturing location listed, it does not extend to other works owned by the same
company.
The firms are retained on the list subject to regular satisfactory inspections, the results of
which are reported to LR.
The continuing process of approval and up-grading plus deletions means that this list
records the status only at the time of printing.
Any queries concerning the validity of a particular approval can be obtained from the
current approval certificate issued to the manufacturer or by reference to the local office of
Lloyd’s Register.
