Midway ISD
Deep in the Heart of Texas located off I-35, Midway
ISD has a reputation of outstanding academics with exceptional co-curricular and extra-curricular activities that
prepare future adults for success. With our new 1:1 Initiative, students and staff are provided a digital tablet to
utilize advanced technology every day. Midway ISD comprises 93 square miles, serves the cities of Waco, Hewitt,
Robinson, McGregor, and Woodway and educates approximately 7,200 students. Midway ISD does not discriminate on the basis of sex, disability, race, color, age

Each class meets 45 minutes per day, five days per
week, and 18 weeks per semester. Students can choose
from a variety of courses throughout the eight-period
day.

Midway High School is a 6A campus with over 2,200
students in grades 9-12. Our Mission ~ Midway High
School is dedicated to providing a learning environment

ranks are weighted. Pre-AP and AP courses receive a
weighting of 1.1. Course credit is awarded at the end
of each semester.

The median (middle) grade point average was 90.3276.
Students graduating in the top quarter of the class had
an average of 95.4093 or better. Students graduating in
the top ten percent of the class had an average of
