generating examples that can be transferred directly onto their resumes. Students are strongly

Motivation Mindset
Wednesday, Oct. 29 | 6-7:30 PM | Student Community Center - Room E
Description: How do we get people to do stuff? This basic question has plagued leaders for time
immemorial. Providing incentives for simple tasks can work to motivate people, but when our
complex problems require creative solutions, incentives often don't work. In this fun and
interactive workshop, we will apply lessons from recent research on the psychology and
neuroscience of human motivation to our leadership practice with the goal of improving our
ability to motivate others (and ourselves).
