Delve deeper into the Library’s vast collections
Develop primary-source rich lessons with support from expert teachers
• Explore how the the content intersects with the Common Core Standards and
the English Language Development Framework
Earn a $500 stipend by participating July 27-31, 2015
and at two follow-up sessions:

the History Project via e-mail, FAX, or U.S. mail.
Selection Criteria for the Level II Workshop—Materials submitted will be evaluated and participants
selected participants based on the following principles or criteria
 Previous utilization of primary sources in the classroom
 Ability to complete all aspects of the Level II workshop including implementation of a lesson in the classroom and
participation in follow-up discussions and reviews of student work from the lesson

This institute is provided at NO COST for 30 selected participants. Participants will be eligible for a $500 stipend upon
