Suspicious Event: A resident reported an unknown
female came to her home and claimed to be working
for Loudoun Water. The woman reported she needed
to test the water. The resident did not allow the person
to enter the home and the resident later contacted
Loudoun Water and learned there were no records on
file of a visit to their home.

Hit and Run: Deputies responded to area for a
reported bicyclist struck by a motor vehicle. The
bicyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, was airlifted
to Inova Fairfax Hospital. The crash occurred as the
bicyclist had been riding on the sidewalk of E. Beech
Road when he attempted to cross the intersection at N.
Irving Road. As the bicyclist left the sidewalk, the
vehicle was making a right turn onto N. Irving Road
from E. Beech Road resulting in the collision. The
driver of the vehicle fled the scene without ever
attempting to render aid to the bicyclist nor contact
911. The crash remains under investigation.
