The company operates a clean condition fabrication facility dedicated to computer controlled hot wire TIG cladding and welding of UNS 32760 & 31803 Duplex Stainless Steels and has developed over 500 fully approved welding procedures. We operate a full range of approved welding procedures including welding deposits with Stainless Steel, Inconel 625, Incoloy 825, Aluminium/Bronzes, Monel and Stellite on base materials ranging from CMn Steels through to AISI 4130, CrMo's, F6NM and Duplex Stainless Steel. Pressure testing to API & BS8010 Weld inlays and weld overlays can be carried out on components for final machining by customers or within our extensive machining facility. QAWT also have extensive bore and RTJ inlay capacity expertise using computer controlled Hot Wire TIG cladding machines. In-line & Flanged WeldLink™ joining of PE lined water injection pipe WeldLink™ was an innovation by British Gas for a method of joining PE lined pipe. QAWT was invited by British Gas to develop the procedures and techniques for this patented weld joint. Having manufactured WeldLinks™ for global customers, QAWT are now the nominated world-wide manufacturer for the Licensee. QAWT continue to develop new and innovative procedures to meet global customer demand. WeldLinks™, along with Compression Rings form an integral part of a jointing system for connecting PE (Polyethylene) lined Water Injection pipe and are a are a cost effective alternative solution to Duplex or Inconel clad pipe for Water Injection Pipelines. They are the result of over 30 years experience of supplying weld overlay cladding services. Specialist CNC Machining Facility As a leading supplier of flowspools to the offshore oil industry QAWT combine a wide experience of the industry’s requirements to provide a complete project management service embracing all aspects of production, testing, certification and documentation. Flowspool manufacture is carried out by dedicated Induction Bending machines with capacity induction coils used for bending within 2’ - 8”, 2” - 18” and 10” 30”. All flowspools are jig built to close industry tolerances. Over 500 approved welding procedures are also available for an extensive range of materials. QAWT provide a CNC machining facility to complement our wide range of integrated engineering services. The machine shop manufactures subsea connection systems, API weldneck flanges, high pressure wellhead components and oil tool equipment. Our CNC machine shop facilities are supported by manual machines with full metrology and inspection systems.
