Our research activities are aligned with HKU’s University Strategic Research Themes, and our research groups are organised according to the following three themes: Biomedical and Tissue Engineering; Infection and Immunity; and Public Health and Healthy Ageing. Such events are usually locally accredited for CME/CPD points, and they are led by Faculty staff, visiting lecturers, and guest speakers who are at the forefront in their disciplines. An emphasis is placed on the critical appraisal and practical application of the latest research evidence and discussion of current policies and best practices. Regular continuing dental education series during the academic year include “Advances in Clinical Dentistry and Related Sciences” seminars. Special summer courses are also available in some disciplines.
