Flights can be arranged to other airports with appropriate runway lengths
and services in the continental United States, Mexico and Canada.
How Does Membership Work?
Similar to joining a private golf club, members pay a one-time initiation fee
and recurring annual fees. Members are then charged for each flight prior
to the trip. No minimum flights per year are required. Memberships may be
transferred to another family member or business partner, sold as part of a
real estate transaction, or sold outright according to membership policies.
Enjoy the beauty of the Sun Valley area without the hassle of flight delays
or cancellations, fewer scheduled flights during slack, or long waiting
times between flights throughout the year.

Distinctive SVAC Features
• Access to the Virtual Club House, a proprietary online system for requesting
flights, organizing shared flights with other members, and seeing as well as
booking empty leg flights available at discounted prices.
• No empty leg fees on five key routes, including flights between Sun Valley
and Palm Springs, Seattle (Boeing Field), San Francisco Bay Area (Oakland,
San Jose), Los Angeles Area (Orange County, Van Nuys, Burbank) and Denver.
• More options for lowering costs. Members can share flights and costs with
other members or pick up a discounted Empty Leg flight.
• After dark arrivals into Sun Valley. The Sun Valley Air Club is the only
charter company serving this area with the training and clearance to fly into
Sun Valley after dark. We are also able to arrive and depart on Runway 13—
an option not available on all charter jet operations—thus averting some
diversions or extended delays.
• Generous guest policy. Other family members, friends, business associates
or clients may fly up to three round trips (six single legs) per year at the same
pricing for Club members. Guests do not have to be accompanied by a member.
• Membership is easily transferred or
sold. Membership may be transferred
as a gift or inheritance to others in the
family or business. Membership could
also be included as part of the sale of real
estate in the Sun Valley area. The new
owners would be required to maintain
annual payment of dues. A membership
could also be sold to another party as an
independent transaction.
• No annual minimum number of
required flights or fares paid. Members
don’t even have to fly at all during a year.
• Luxury chauffeured vehicles will
provide transportation to or from Twin
Falls in the event that we must divert
operations to that location because of
airport conditions in Sun Valley. We do
not leave you stranded to secure ground
transportation on your own.
• No extra charges for catering. The Flight Concierge will arrange for your
meal or snack requests from favorite local restaurants. We also offer an array of
non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages on each flight.
• Both Learjets and all flight crew members are based in Sun Valley. This
provides increased reliability and safety for outbound flights when weather
conditions at Friedman Memorial Airport are challenging. We will have accurate
weather information, our planes and pilots can be ready to leave as soon as
weather permits, and we can sometimes proactively adjust departure times with
the members and other passengers to avoid long weather-related delays.

Benefits of Membership
• Services of a Flight Concierge to arrange all details related to your
flights, including parking and ground transportation, pet accommodations,
catering preferences, FedEx shipment of additional baggage, and special
needs or requests.
• Arrivals and departures at private jet terminals, such as Atlantic
Aviation in Sun Valley. These feature comfortable and relaxing environments
for people and pets, complimentary parking, wi-fi, beverages, newspapers
and magazines. You can drive your vehicle right to the aircraft with your
luggage, and staff will park your vehicle for you.
• Freedom from TSA checks: no lines, screenings or most of the standard
carry-on restrictions. Passenger manifests are cleared with government No
Fly lists prior to flights.
• Pet-friendly flights are available, but those who do not wish to travel
with pets on board will be on pet-free flights. When members who are flying
with a pet are open to sharing the flight with other members, we make sure
all passengers are aware of a pet being on board that particular flight.

“We wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our flight and the pilots
today. They were all so attentive and professional. I don’t think we will be
driving up to Sun Valley much now...super spoiled as we compare the 14
hour drive with 1.5 hours in a Lear Jet...easy conclusion. Everyone was
wonderful and we enjoyed the nice terminals in both locations. Thank you
again, we are looking forward to a long relationship with your Company.”
—Jim and Sue Costanzo, Orange County, CA
“Thank you for your help with arranging the trip today–it was a great trip.
The pilots were terrific. To quote my wife, ‘It was perfect.’ Please pass this
along to the SVAC team.”
—Rusty and Mary Lynn Turner, Orange County, CA
“I have been a fractional owner for over 10 years, and I find the Sun Valley
Air Club and Mountain Aviation a good alternative. When flying on routes
outside of the SVAC key destinations, I am able to book exactly what I need
at a lower cost than the fractional carriers can offer, and the service is
great. When booking on key routes, the Club often finds someone to share
the ride. It is nice to meet new people and share the cost.”
—Business flyer based in Sun Valley
“As a previous part owner of a jet, Norman’s model is more affordable and
far less hassle. It satisfies my desire to pair the convenience and efficiency
of private travel with the sensible and environmentally respectful aspect of
sharing the flights.”
