Items can be placed in the barrel located at the O.C.C. display. Children’s Christmas Program will be Sunday, December 14th!! Performed during an All-Church Sunday School Hour It’s that time again when PV’s children (ages Kg-4th grade) begin preparing for the Children’s Christmas Program! We will be practicing every Sunday morning during a portion of the Sunday School hour 9:45am, in the SonLife Center. Beginning on November 2nd, these practices will start at 9:30am. Our Pre-K children will also be learning a song to share on the day of the program. Be sure to bring your kids to Sunday School so they can enjoy the fun! Children’s Sunday School (ages 0-6th grade) is available at 9:45am in the Children’s Center. Fifth & Sixth grades meet in Youth Center basement Room YC001. Childcare available on Sunday Mornings (both services) - Ages 0-4 years old. Children’s Worship - Ages 5 years - 4th grade, dismissed right before the sermon at each service. Parents need to register their children in the Children’s Lobby. Youth Laser Web Lock-In November 14-15, 2014 Next Saturday, November 1st, Pleasant View will take part in the ministry of spreading the Light of Jesus to Gettysburg, Ohio. We will meet that day at Lavy’s Marathon at 1:00 pm. We are looking for willing servants to work together in distributing light bulbs to over 217 homes that day. Belize Mission Team Projects As the Belize Mission Team prepares for their trip in December, they are raising extra funds for the various projects they will be working on while in Orange Walk. One of those projects will be a VBS for the children. The team is looking for PV children or adults who are willing to “Send a Friend to VBS”. Please pick up the “Weird Animals” flyers at the Welcome Center or Children’s Center, enclose your gift of $5.00, and turn it into a team member or Sunday School teacher. The other projects being planned are purchasing food for needy families in Orange Walk as well as items needed to continue the construction on the church building in Orange Walk. Money will be raised by selling Pleasant View T-shirts. Order forms are available through one of the Belize Mission Team members and you can turn your orders and money in to one of the team members on or before October 26th. This Region Youth Event will be held at Laser Web Dayton, located at 533 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd, Dayton, OH 45459. The cost is only $20 per person, which will include laser tag, laser maze, tokens for games, plus plenty of pizza and pop for everyone. We will have the entire facility to ourselves for the whole night. PV youth will leave from the church at 9:45pm on Friday night and return to the church on Saturday morning at 7:00am.
