October 22, 2014 File: WN-18 2014-146 SOUTHWEST AIRLINES TENTATIVE AGREEMENT REACHED FOR OVER 6,000 IAM MEMBERS After more than two years of negotiations, with many distractions and ups and downs, your negotiating committee has reached a tentative agreement with the Company. Without your solidarity and support, this would not have been possible. Highlights of the proposed tentative agreements will be posted shortly on the District 142 web site www.iamdl142.org . In accordance with District 142 By-Laws, your committee will work diligently to compile copies of the Tentative Agreement with all changes to the current Collective Bargaining Agreement clearly marked, for the membership’s review. Once those documents are completed, they will be shipped to all locations, as well as placed on the District 142 web page. Once distributed to all locations, a schedule will be established for membership meetings to explain the tentative agreement and answer any questions. A date will be set for a ratification vote in the near future. Your committee unanimously recommends ratification of this agreement.
