The workshop provides an opportunity for a more in-depth look at the development, validity and accuracy of various modelling and analytical techniques used to determine the potential effects of lightning on underground coal mines. Further discussions as to how this knowledge and modelling can by utilised to mitigate the dangers caused by lightning energy transfer into underground mines will be welcome.
