Advanced Laparoscopy Course (hands on fresh cadavers) 14th – 15th November 2014 To be held at The University of Glasgow, Clinical Anatomy Skills Centre, Department of Anatomy, Glasgow, G12 8QQ This course has been designed for Consultants Gynaecologists and Senior Trainees who would like to sharpen their knowledge & skills in gynaecological laparoscopic surgery. An experienced faculty will present a range of skills, tips and techniques. Delegates will be mentored and guided through the hands-‐on sessions by experienced faculty clinicians, and allowed to perform full surgical procedures. Candidates will have the opportunity to trial the newest laparoscopic equipment in state-‐of-‐art facilities. Teaching methods: 1. Interactive lectures on anatomy and surgical procedures 2. Hands-‐on surgery on human female fresh frozen cadavers (non-‐embalmed) with demonstration of anatomical and surgical principles.
