Does it change the way we consider elements of performativity, presence and ‘being on stage?’ And does it offer us new ways of thinking about theatre? We will look specifically at working ‘task oriented’, on how to structure a piece of work around certain tasks that involves the audience in a direct way. And we will look at ways to plan a dialogue with audience-members or people in a public space, where you can never predict the answers. Relational strategies and methods will be introduced but the main focus will be on facilitating workshop participants working together in groups, sharing knowledge and experiences while hopefully getting new ones. The day includes coffee breaks and lunch at the school. 17.00 End of the seminar, departure École des Écoles (EdE) is a European network focusing on teachers and students in performing arts. The network was established in 2006 based on the European summer school “Prima del Teatro” in Italy. In recent years, the network has sought to strengthen the possibilities of exchange between teachers of European theatre schools. EdE works on developing cooperation between the partner schools through seminars, workshops and meetings. EdE consists of 13 partner schools from Spain, Germany, Denmark, UK, France, Italy, Portugal, Lithuania, Belgium, Switzerland and Norway. http://www.ecoledesecoles.eu/website/
