Teamwork is defined in Webster's New
World Dictionary as "a joint action by
a group of people, in which each
person subordinates his or her
individual interests and opinions to
the unity and efficiency of the
group."

Group Work
Teams usually found in the classroom
are a group of individuals made to
work together. Each individual is
graded on their part. The group
does not work for the benefit of the
whole group.

•A team is a group of students working
together to solve a common goal or
problem.
•The members must not be a group of
individuals. They must unite and
think as one.
• The members must have a measureable
goal or solution.
