NO 12 Claiming Infant Meals Scenario 3: • 6 month old infant eating solid foods – The mother breastfeeds the child at the center for breakfast and the child care center also feeds the infant solid food supplied by the center. – Is this a claimable meal? YES 13 Claiming Infant Meals Scenario 4: • 2 month old infant – Mother came to the center to breastfeed her infant. – Is this a claimable meal? NO 14 Claiming Infant Meals Scenario 5: • 11 month old infant – At breakfast, infant is not eating ironfortified infant cereal per parents request – Infant receives center-purchased formula, fruit and another grain/bread item (pancakes, adult cereal, toast, etc.) – Is this meal claimable?
