His mothers name was ‘Gangamai’ and father was Paygonda
Patil.Though agriculture was the main occupation of his
family, his father , preferred to work as a clerk in the revenue
department of the government of Bombay.
. Bhaurao Patil had a son named Appasaheb.
Laxmibai was his wife.

She was known as “Vahini.”

of his monumental work .
