Elizabeth Courtois
Annie has an MA (Hons) in Civil Engineering from the University
of Bristol. Since joining Optimos, she has worked with a major UK
retail bank to analyse Group-wide technology costs. The
analytics identified potential benefits of around £14.6m in
budget savings.
Elizabeth has a First with Distinction in Political Science from
Concordia University & a Masters in Political Economy from
LSE. Since joining Optimos, she has worked with the IT Service
Delivery team of a major UK retail bank to introduce zerobased budgeting.
Annie is an international lacrosse player and represented England at the
recent World Cup in Canada. She was a member of the Elite Performance
Squad at university and captained the team in her final year. Big Spurs
fan!
Elizabeth speaks English, French and Spanish and enjoys travelling. She
spent six months in Nicaragua working for the British Council of Human
Rights teaching disadvantaged children to speak English.

Ffion Evans
Ffion has a First Class BSc (Hons) in Experimental Psychology
from the University of Bristol. At Optimos, Ffion has analysed the
technology costs of the International units of a major UK retail
bank & is now analysing telecommunications costs for the client.
Ffion speaks English, Welsh and French and spent three months teaching
children with special needs. She represented Bristol University at rowing
and enjoys running, recently completing the Bristol 10k.

Ghajen Sivarajah
Ghajen has a BSc (Hons) in Business Mathematics and Statistics
from LSE, specialising in decision science, simulation modelling
and regression analysis. At Optimos, he has developed the
analytical models supporting the analysis of technology costs
at a major UK retail bank.
Ghajen speaks English, Tamil and French and is a keen footballer,
though apparently supports Arsenal!

James Prowting
James has a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry from the University of
Bristol. Since joining Optimos, he has resolved problems on the
classification and ownership of technology suppliers and contracts
for a major UK retail bank.
James is a keen mountaineer and has completed climbs in Kilimanjaro and
in the Himalayas. An adventurer by nature, James has also completed the
PADI advanced open water scuba diving qualification. And just to take his
adrenalin levels to their ultimate extreme, James supports Spurs!

Jenni Kangasharju
Jenni has a First Class (Hons) in Business Management &
Politics from the University of Worcester and recently
completed a Masters in Political Economy at LSE. At Optimos,
she has worked with the IT cost management team to transfer
budgets from the business units.
Jenni speaks Finnish English, Swedish & French. She is a keen footballer
and represented Finland at international level.

Laura Rollo-Smith
Jonathan is a co-founder & Director of Optimos. In a consulting
career spanning more than 25 years with Accenture, Deloitte and
Optimos, Jonathan has completed more than 200 consulting
projects for leading Financial Services companies such as AXA,
Aviva, Lloyds Banking Group and LV=.
Laura has a BA (Joint Hons) in Politics & English Literature
from the University of the West of England. At Optimos, she
has worked on our efforts to introduce us and the benefits of
our work to our target customers.
In his youth, Jonathan was an avid sportsman representing his county at
cricket and rugby but age and injury have finally taken their toll. Now that
he can’t play, he coaches and once that stops, it’ll have to be consulting!
Laura is a keen writer and wildlife conservationist and is a frequent
contributor to publications including Countryfile. She has a passion
for the green economy and supported the successful campaign for
Bristol to be the Green Capital of Europe.
