thoughts on WORK
Do What makes you happy! Do not choose
a direction or vocation because of money.
You will only get one time around in life, and
you should enjoy all of your experiences, not
just your pay day.

It’s good to have a comfort zone, but
you also have to push yourself.

Keeping a little ahead of the conditions is one of
the secrets of business; the trailer seldom goes
far.

A professional is a person who can do their job when he doesn’t feel like it. An
amateur is a man who can’t do his work when he does feel like it.

CONGRATULATIONS VICKI FEDDERSEN ON “30” YEARS OF SERVICE
Vicki started with Skyline on May 29, 1980. She was a Program Manager at DSP in
DeWitt, Iowa for many years and then transferred to SCI in Clinton. She was honored at
a small gathering at SCI on May 28, 2010, by Jack Robinson and her supervisor, Joan
Hurla.
3 Steps to Quick Healthy Meals
Ann’s Health Tips;
Outdoor exercise can be challenging when the
temperature soars.
Stay safe during hot-weather exercise by drinking
enough fluids,
wearing proper clothing and timing your workout to
avoid extreme heat.
Your body’s metabolic rate is determined by the
rate energy is burnt during physical activity and the
rate at which energy is used during digestion. If you
include the right kinds of food in your diet, you can
lose weight by increasing the rate at which you body
digests food.
