It is hard to separate “All Saints” from “All Souls.” The liturgies deal with the faithful departed no maer where their

As we celebrate this feast, we remember all the places where Chrisans gather to worship. We remember the tent of

The church of St. John Lateran was originally a public meeng hall for the Roman people. On November 9, 324, the
building was dedicated as a church for the Chrisans. This was the first public church building Chrisans were allowed to
have. Before that me, it was against the law in Rome to be a Chrisan. People were put to death for being Chrisan.
