ProjectZERO Roadmap
• As an area we have the potential because we have
a great concentration of technology and knowledgeintensive enterprises to carry out the best solutions.
But for the individuals, shop owners or farmers it is
about the solutions that pay back within a short
period of time. We should therefore raise awareness
of sustainability in all age groups; create knowledge
and skills to support a ZEROcarbon development in
Sonderborg area across geography, knowledge and
age.

in the area with an average age of 64

Better education of craftsmen
• Prepare the local craftsmen of the future challenges
• Living energy efficiently is increasingly important for
homeowners
• The ’Energy Advisors’ is a course that educates the craftsmen
toward a future with a focus on energy efficient living
• 60% of the local craftsmen business have participated on the
course
• A special education course will started up in the beginning of
2012

The ZERObuild programme
The purpose of the project is to create new knowledge between
craftsmen and company within the construction industry, through
upgrading their know-how in system solutions and Smart Grids.

ZEROcompany
• ProjectZero´s own company learning
program, ZEROcompany, created together
with the CDP Carbon Disclosure Project a
special participation program for SMEcompanies, with the result that 40% of all
Danish companies which had been
registered in the CDP-database in 2009
had its base in Sonderborg.

carbon emissions by 15% within a year

Project ZERO’s masterplan
