Center for Cancer Immune Therapy Department of Haematology, 65Q9 Copenhagen University Hospital, Herlev Herlev Ringvej 75 DK-2730 Herlev, Denmark 29 June 2015 Postdoctoral Researcher in Tumor Immunology and Cancer Immunotherapy: Copenhagen Area, Denmark The Center for Cancer Immune Therapy (CCIT) at Herlev Hospital, Copenhagen University, Denmark is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated postdoctoral researcher in tumor immunology and cancer immunotherapy. We offer initially a six month position, renewable for up to 2-3 years. The position is immediately available The postdoctoral fellow will have the opportunity to study the interaction of tumor-specific T cells with autologous tumor cells obtained from various forms of solid cancer. The project will focus on target modulation with pharmacological agents to improve the effector function of tumor-specific T cells. CCIT focuses on dissecting the cellular and molecular mechanisms regulating anti-tumor immunity, and utilizes this knowledge to develop next-generation cancer immunotherapies. CCIT specializes in translating basic immunological findings into clinical trials. Approximately 25 highly qualified scientists and clinicians work at CCIT. Being part of the Capital Region of Denmark Health Organization, CCIT provides broad training possibilities and a highly collaborative environment for basic and translational cancer immunology research.
