Viking soapstone bowl, Denmark.
Soapstone vessels were imported from Norway and
Sweden. They weighed 5-6 kg and were heavy to
transport. The vessels were very common in Viking Age
Denmark. This shows that the Vikings did not only import
luxury products, but everyday objects as well
